FULLERTON, Calif. – The Los Angeles Blues play their first of two games against Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy Reserves on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center’s Track Stadium. This match will count in the USL PRO League standings for the Blues, as part of the agreement between MLS and USL PRO reached earlier this year. The teams will play a home-and-away series this season.

The Blues are coming off a 0-0 draw against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Sunday night. The Blues, currently 4-3-1, sit in second place in the USL PRO standings and are undefeated at Titan Stadium.

The Galaxy will have their hands full with the Blues’ offensive power. The team has scored 13 goals, by 10 different players, in just eight games. Last season, the Blues struggled offensively, only scoring 26 goals in league play, but the return to form of George Davis IV, who leads the team with three goals, and the addition of former Chivas USA forward Chris Cortez, who has two, has boosted the club's attack this season.

The Blues have also fared well defensively, with Carl Woszczynski in a tie for the league lead with three shutous this season. The Galaxy have a strong contingent of young talent on their roster, with players such as former UCLA standout Chandler Hoffman, Kofi Opare and Tommy Meyer all likely to feature against the Blues.

The Galaxy Reserves most recently played the Real Salt Lake Reserves on April 28, falling 1-0. The full Galaxy team played on Sunday as well, falling to the Houston Dynamo, 1-0.

The second game of the season series will be at Titan Stadium on June 15 at 7:30 p.m. PT. Tickets are available as part of the Blues’ Summer Pack and can be purchased at lablues.ticketfly.com.
