ST. JOHN'S, Antigua -- The Antigua Barracuda FC will take its first bold step into the professional ranks when it engages the Los Angeles Blues in Antigua on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Sticky Wicket Stadium in its first game of the 2011 USL PRO season.
Extensive repairs have been done to the playing field and it presents a picture perfect surface that will suit the style and play of the home team. The roster now boasts 17 players with professional terms and seven reserves.
Head Coach of the Antigua Barracuda FC, Tom Curtis said, “We have some final touches to do but the boys have worked very hard and although they are newcomers to this experience I am convinced they will give of their best.”
