Orlando City Sets MLS Friendly Date

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando City Soccer Club is proud to announce the Orlando City Lions will play Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union on February 18, 2012, at the Florida Citrus Bowl.

“We are delighted to welcome back the Philadelphia Union to Central Florida,” Orlando City Owner/President Phil Rawlins said. “We have a great relationship with the front office staff and are looking forward to having them with us again in February.”

This year marks year two of a four-year agreement between Orlando City and the Philadelphia Union. The Union will spend three weeks in Orlando as part of their 2012 preseason training, culminating in the friendly match with the Lions on the 18th. Last season, in Orlando City’s first-ever match, the Lions defeated the Union 1-0 on Lewis Neal’s stunning free-kick goal in the 19th minute.

Tickets for the February 18 friendly are now on sale and are available through the Orlando City ticket office. 2012 Season ticket packages include the Union match.

For Christmas, Orlando City is offering a special packages for the Union match:
• Four tickets and an Orlando City holiday ornament for $50
• Four tickets and an Orlando City 2012 calendar for $55
• Four tickets and four scarves for $100
