DAYTON, Ohio -- This week The Dayton Dutch Lions FC had the first trial recording of DutchLionsTV (DL TV), a show that will be uploaded to the club's website (www.dutchlionsfc.com) every week and will get its own website page in the coming months. Besides covering the results of all the Academy teams from the prior week, DL TV will have a Game of the Week, with highlights of an Academy game including interviews with players and parents and feedback from the coach on the way the team played.
DL TV will also provide coverage prior to and during the club's USL PRO and USL W-League seasons next year as they take on the best those leagues have to offer, with players and coaches from both teams making appearances. The Dutch Lions will also continue to show all of their home USL PRO games live on internet again, and are looking to organize a DL TV show around each game as well. The first official DL TV show is scheduled to air in the third week of November.
“DutchLionsTV is a fantastic addition to our club and specifically designed for our (potential) Academy players, parents, sponsors and fans to stay updated with all weekly events in the club," Dutch Lions President Mike Mossell said. "Of course we have used Facebook, Twitter, newsletters and other media the last two years but I felt we needed to take it a step higher. We want to be leading in player development but also on the marketing and especially branding side and DL TV fits perfectly in our strategy.”
