LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Blues’ next home game on Friday, July 15, at 8 p.m. PST against the Dayton Dutch Lions will be featured as the USL Game of the Week and will be nationally televised on FOX Soccer.
The game will be the first of back-to-back matches against the Ohio-based team, with the second coming on Sunday at 5 p.m. PST at Norco College’s Mustang Stadium in Norco, Calif.
Friday’s match will feature plenty of excitement and entertainment. Every child wearing either a Blues Youth Soccer Club jersey or a jersey of Southern California-based Club America youth soccer club will be granted free entry with a paying adult ticket. While the first several hundred fans through the gate will receive a sample bag of chips, courtesy of PopChips, all in attendance will receive a ticket voucher for the July 23 Major League Soccer match between Chivas USA and the Houston Dynamo at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
Chivas USA event staff, ChivaGirls, and the Chiva Fighter mascot will be giving out raffle prizes, and the Anaheim Bolts of the Professional Arena Soccer League will be present at Friday’s match as well. Finally, a couple of lucky fans will get to test their penalty-kick skills in the halftime “Kickin’ for Chicken” contest featuring the Chick-Fil-A Cow, courtesy of Chick-Fil-A Brea.
