SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Blues of USL PRO have added two new players to their team, including former Los Angeles Galaxy forward and midfielder Israel Sesay.
Along with 20-year-old Sesay, 21-year-old defender Josh Suggs signed with the club. Head Coach Charlie Naimo said that both of the players add something unique to the team.
"Adding these young and versatile players to our mix was a critical step in building our team,” said Naimo. “They each offer a different quality.”
Sesay’s MLS background and Suggs' four-year college experience at Humboldt State University are just a few of the credentials the players bring to the team.
Naimo is excited to see how both players succeed for the LA Blues on the field.
“Josh is a strong left-sided player and has the potential to do extremely well at the back,” said Naimo. “Also, Israel is a young and exciting player who we think can cause problems for our opponents.”
