HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Harrisburg City Islanders beat the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Tuesday night in a thrilling 4-2 second 2011 installment of the Keystone Derby at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island. Goals by City Islanders Jose Angulo, Morgan Langley, Jason Hotchkin and Sainey Touray led Harrisburg to their second win of the season, both of which have come at home.

Harrisburg struck first in the fourth minute when former Philadelphia Union midfielder J.T. Noone showcased his fancy footwork and laid off a pass to Angulo, who shot, hitting Pittsburgh Riverhound defender Louie Rolko’s hand. The referee immediately awarded a penalty, giving Rolko a straight red card, and Angulo burried the penalty shot past Riverhound goalkeeper Hunter Gilstrap. Now a man down, the Riverhounds were very quiet in the first half, not having one shot.

After the break, the City Islanders wasted no time to get back on the scoreboard. Just three minutes in, Hotchkin served the ball toLangley from the left flank and the rookie cut inside from the right side, setting up the left-footed goal. The City Islanders wouldn’t stop there, as Hotchkind added a third in the 55th minute off a floated cross by Noone that he headed home.

The Riverhounds would turn things around in the 64th minute, though, as forward Jason Yeisley chased down a ball from the Pittsburgh backline and blasted the ball past goalkeeper Chase Harrison. Pittsburgh's momentum would build just three minutes later as Yeisley scored again, finishing a right-wing cross by former D.C. United midfielder Thabiso Khumalo.

The rest of the second half was nervewracking as the Riverhounds looked for the game-tying goal, but the City Islanders would regroup, keep their composure and find an insurance goal with a minute to go. After Brian Ombiji served a ball to Touray, the second-half substitute launched a rocket into the top left corner of the goal to put the City Islanders up 4-2.

The City Islanders’ next home game of the season is scheduled for 7 p.m. this Saturday at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island against the Charleston Battery. The first 1,000 fans will receive a FREE soccer beach ball. For more information on the City Islanders, or to order tickets, contact the team at 717-441-GOAL, or visit www.cityislanders.com.
