ATLANTA, Georgia – For the third time in as many W-League games, the Atlanta Silverbacks will match up against the Dayton Dutch Lions, this time to decide the season series winner. Atlanta (1-4-0) will host the Lady Lions (2-5-0) Sunday afternoon at Silverbacks Park in another Southeastern Conference matchup on Father’s Day.
The last time these two teams met, the Silverbacks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 27 minutes behind Ashley Nagy’s hat trick. She had a header in the fourth minute, a goal from the corner in the 26th and another straight on in the 27th as the Silverbacks swarmed the Lady Lions early and often.
Since the loss, Dayton has traveled to Gulf Coast, where it lost 5-0, and to Charlotte, where the Lady Eagles won 5-2.
Tickets are still available online at atlantasilverbacksfc.com and will also be available at the gate. Tickets are $10 each.
