OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Energy FC hosts the New York Red Bulls Reserves on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. CT at Pribil Stadium. Tickets remain for the game and can be purchased online at www.EnergyFC.com or by calling 235-KICK. The game airs live via YouTube Live and can be heard locally on 96.1 FM KXY.
Energy FC enters Saturday’s game with a 2-7-0 record (six points) with shutout wins over Orange County (2-0) and Arizona United SC (4-0). Energy FC has dropped five straight games, including two to defending USL PRO champion Orlando City. The side has been led by forward Kyle Greig, who has three goals in USL PRO, and will be looking for its first home win of the season against the Red Bulls Reserves. Currently sitting four points out of the playoff positions, a win would be a big boost to Energy FC's postseason aspirations.
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. CT at the Chesapeake Energy lawn. Beverages for purchase, along with family-friendly activities, are available at the lawn for fans until 7 p.m. Admission to the lawn event is free. Also taking place at the Chesapeake Energy lawn is the Cleats for Kids summer kickoff, featuring live music and food trucks.
