BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Bohemians announced today that eight players will return from last season’s squad.
Amongst the returning players is last year's captain Mamadou Kansaye (UMBC), who started 20 games for the Retrievers this season, scoring three goals and notching seven assists. Fellow midfielders Brian Graham (UNC-Greensboro), Malcolm Harris (UMBC), and Austin Martz (Georgetown) all return to Baltimore’s roster this year.
Shoring up the defense will be Bohs veteran Marquez Fernandez (UMBC). He made 16 appearances this season at UMBC, scoring three goals. Jacob Nelson (St. Joseph's) and Matt Shinsky (Columbia) will also be back to help in the back. Goalkeeper Andrew Harris (Wake Forest) will also be returning between the pipes.
The Bohemians’ full squad will be announced next week.
Baltimore's season kicks off on Wednesday May 14 at home in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against Icon FC. Their first match of the PDL regular season is Saturday May 17 at home against Northern Virginia Royals.
