CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Eagles take on Antigua Barracuda FC at 8 p.m. on Friday night at Charlotte Christian Stadium as part of the Eagles' first doubleheader of the season. The Lady Eagles will take the field at 5:30 p.m. against long-time rivals the Atlanta Silverbacks.
Friday night will be the first meeting between the two teams. Charlotte is excited to host the Caribbean team and is looking forward to a great game.
The Eagles found their first win of the season on Saturday in Los Angeles and will work hard to build on their success. Currently the Eagles hold a 1-4-1 record with much optimism for the future.
Antigua has found success thus far in USL PRO. With a 6-3-0 record, the team's winning streak was broken this past weekend with a loss to Rochester.
The Lady Eagles host the Atlanta Silverbacks in a very important game Friday night. Both teams won their first game. The Lady Eagles look to turn last week's victory into a streak.
The Charlotte Eagles are proud to host TAKIS night for this Friday night's doubleheader. The first 1,000 fans will receive a complimentary bag of TAKIS at the ticket booths. Also, Soccer Shots, will be at the games on Saturday night. Soccer Shots kids will be able to be a part of a pregame clinic as well as shoot on Winger at half-time of the Lady Eagles' game.
