BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Bohemians are proud to announce that the club has signed a partnership agreement with Bohemian Football Club of the League of Ireland Premier Division.
The partnership will allow for an exchange of talent between the two teams both on and off the pitch. Exceptional players from both clubs will have the opportunity to go on trial at the opposite team, providing the athletes an opportunity to gain recognition on either side of the Atlantic. The coaching staffs of each club will also cooperate to identify outstanding talent who may flourish in either the League of Ireland or the Premier Development League here in the United States.
The two clubs will also provide exposure for one another in their respective countries leading to a possible friendly between the two sides.
The Dublin-based club is the oldest Irish club in continuous existence and the oldest fan-owned club in Ireland. Founded in 1890, the Bohs have won the League of Ireland title 11 times, the FAI Cup seven times, the League of Ireland Shield six times and the League of Ireland Cup three times. The club has also competed in the Champions League/European Cup, the Europa League/UEFA Cup, the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and the Intertoto Cup.
The Baltimore Bohemians compete in the PDL, the top developmental league in the United States.
