TUCSON, Ariz. — FC Tucson’s roster continues to grow as the club announced the addition of six more players to its roster for 2013. The club brings back the University of San Diego’s Michael D’Arrigo and Eli Galbraith-Knapp. The four newcomers are Connor Brandt, Stephen Posa, Greg Carter and Conner Bevans. Brandt and Posa also come from the University of San Diego. Carter and Bevans are teammates from Gonzaga.
“With each signing (FC Tucson head coach) Rick Schantz and I get more excited for the beginning of the season,” said FC Tucson General Manager Jon Pearlman. “Michael, Eli and Conner had a great season with USD going to the NCAA Elite Eight, and Stephen was drafted by the LA Galaxy.
"Carter and Bevens are top West Coast Conference performers who have received high praise from their coach, former FC Tucson goalkeeper Vito Higgins, as well as rival coaches in the WCC.”
