HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Harrisburg City Islanders and Rochester Rhinos' USL PRO game that was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 30 has been postponed due to heavy rains and high winds that swept through the Harrisburg area on Thursday, causing flash floods, electrical outages and downed trees.
The City Island area of Harrisburg, which is the location of the City Islanders' Skyline Sports Complex, was closed by the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's Emergency Operation Center at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, postponing all scheduled events on the island.
The City Islanders and Rhino have rescheduled the game for Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled date will be honored as the City Islanders open their home schedule.
