LONG BEACH, Calif. - The LA Strikers are excited to announce the signing of Gemma Bryan, fomerly of Charlton Athletic of the Southern Premier League in England.
From 2005-09, Bryan played for Millwall Lionesses prior to signing with Charlton Athletic. At Charlton, she was the top scorer in the Southern Premier League during the 2010-11 season, leading her team to the Southern Premier League title.
"I am delighted to have signed for the LA Strikers and to be given the opportunity to play at the highest level alongside ambitious and top professionals," Bryan said. "This will be a very exciting challenge! I can't wait to arrive in LA!"
Bryan's scoring streak continued during the 2012 season. In her final two games for Charlton, she scored twice against Leeds and had a hat trick against Tottenham Hotspur.
