LOS ANGELES - The LA Strikers of the W-League have been hard at work recruiting players for the 2013 season, and they are pleased to announce that Ann Marie Tangorra has signed with the team. Tangorra is a recent graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where she garnered several honors, including being named Second Team All Big West Conference her junior year. 
Tangorra is no stranger to the W-League. In 2011, she played for the Western Conference champion Santa Clarita Blue Heat, and in 2012 she played for the Western Conference champion Pail Blues. The Strikers are looking forward to Tangorra playing for her third Western Conference champion in as many years.
"We are excited to have such a strong attacker on our squad," Strikers General Manager Vanessa Valentine said. "She brings such speed and strength up top and she is such a proven asset. Her great attitude and strong work ethic is what we need in players. She is a great addition to our growing roster."
More player announcements will be made in the coming weeks. Open tryouts for the Strikers are scheduled for April 5-7 - Do you have what it takes?
