BRADENTON, Fla. – After five days of competition involving 130 boys and girls teams from across the United States and Canada, Tuesday saw 12 champions crowned at the USL Super Y-League North American Finals at the world-class facilities of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Parsippany SC took the Boys U17 Championship as Enver Caymaz scored a hat trick to lead his side to a 4-2 victory after extra time against Ironbound SC. Caymaz found the net in both the 93rd and 101st minutes to cap an outstanding tournament after Ironbound had sent the game to extra time with a 90th-minute equalizer by Dylan Santos.

The Boys U15 Championship also went to extra time, with VSI West Florida claiming its second consecutive championship after a 2-1 victory against the Maryland Rush. With the teams tied 1-1 after regulation, and VSI down to 10 men after second-half sending off, Robert Bramble scored the decisive goal to give his side victory in the last minute of the first extra time period.

VSI also took victory in the Girls U17 Division as it defeated the Northern Virginia Majestics 4-1 in the final day of the six-team round robin tournament. That win, and the Kalamazoo Kingdom’s 2-0 loss to Force Football Club, allowed VSI to jump into top spot in the final standings, with second-half goals by Lauren Greene, Jessie Scarpa and Danielle Eule earning their victory.

Both U14 Finals went to penalty shootouts, with Ironbound SC defeating the Ottawa Fury 5-4 after the two teams had played to a 1-1 draw. The Cleveland Internationals also took victory after a 1-1 draw with Mequon United, the Internationals winning the shootout 4-2.

Other champions included the Southern Soccer Academy, which got a pair of goals by Tyler Edwards in a 2-0 win against TSF Academy in the Boys U16 Final. Triangle FC’s Grace Nipp, Caroline Houser and Frances Reuland each found the net in a 3-1 win against the New York Magic in the Girls U16 Final, while Tiffany Raygor had two goals and an assist as the Atlanta Fire defeated the Seacoast United Mariners 4-1 in the Girls U15 Final.

The Long Island Rough Riders claimed both the Boys and Girls U13 championship, with the Boys getting first-half goals by Ryan Innes, Anthony Pinto and Storm Strongin that led to a 3-0 win against Match Fit Chelsea. In the girls’ division, Long Island took a 1-0 win against Virginia Alliance.

Shayla Smart’s two goals proved enough for FC America to win the Girls U12 division as it took a 2-0 win against the Kalamazoo Kingdom, while Tampa Bay United’s Juan Soto scored in the final minute of extra time to give his side the U12 Boys championship with a 1-0 win against Alpharetta United.
