DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Dutch Lions FC are proud to announce the signing of Joel DeLass for the 2011 USL PRO season. The midfielder is the eighth professional player committed to the DDl FC for the USL PRO season.
DeLass, a Michigan native, signed a one-year contract with the Dutch Lions. Most recently DeLass played for Wheaton College and the Charlotte Eagles.
“I’ve only had a glimpse of the organization thus far, but from what I can tell the organization seems to be very professional and very committed to bringing high-level soccer to the Dayton community," said DeLass.
“This season in particular, I’m really looking forward to playing my part in helping to establish a winning tradition on the field, while also having a positive impact on the Dayton community. I want to be a positive role model both on and off the field, in order to build positive bilateral relationships within the community so that children, teens, and adults are proud to be supporters of the Dayton Dutch Lions,” DeLass continued when asked what he was most looking forward to this season.
