J.T. Noone went undrafted in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. But that hardly fazed him.
Noone didn’t see one minute of league action in a Union uniform last season. But that only motivated him to work harder.
As Philadelphia continue their preseason training in Florida, Noone is right in the middle of the action.
He doesn’t know where that path will lead when the season begins. All Noone knows is this: he will work like crazy to prove his mettle to the technical staff.
“I really think that the experience I gained last year training with the club has helped me so much,” said Noone, the first local product to sign with Philadelphia. “I think I’ve been able to raise my level of play, and I think the technical staff here has been awesome. I like to push myself as it is. My goal now is to continue to progress and improve in every training session.”
Noone, who played for the Harrisburg City Islanders much of last season, was previously a standout at Temple.
